"Phenomenal yoga. Highly recommend. My favorite reasons why I love Down Under School of Yoga (I’m just 6 days into my membership): 1. Quality of teaching / instructing. - World class teachers, indeed! 2. Variety & diversity of teachers & styles - Lots of different styles of yoga, heated, non heated…and all the teachers bring their own yoga background and mastery to each class, so you’ll get a slightly different flare and feel from each teacher, which is so valuable! If you want charm and sophistication, go to Gregor. If you want alignment and technique, go to Masaaki. If you want breath work & mediation infused into your flows, go to David. 3. Established excellence. - 20+ years in business with 9 locations creates a foundation in the community and within the teachers that only gets stronger as time goes on. Excellence is the standard here because it’s the level everyone comes to play at. It’s the norm for them. 4. Great blend of community members. - Lots of beginners & very experienced yogis make up this community. It’s really important to have a great blend of students…because if you only have advanced yogis, then it won’t feel friendly for beginners. If all you have are beginners, the experienced yogis will feel like they can’t get the experience they are looking for. Having a blend of new and experienced students is massively beneficial to the overall community, and goes space for everyone to feel like they belong, regardless of what level they are at. 5. Two yoga rooms in one location. - with two different rooms (upstairs and downstairs) offering different classes all day long, they have 15 classes to choose from on their busiest days! 6. The beautiful studio space. - clean, simple, elegant, spacious. Bathrooms, changing rooms, showers, water stations, cubbies, shoe racks, coat hangers, blocks, straps, bolsters, beautiful front lobby area with great natural light, great accessible parking right next to the studio. Overall, this place is amazing!"
