Community Feedback

"Amazing gym and coaches! Everyone is so supportive of each other from the coaches to the gym-goers. It's great to be among other people improving their strength, endurance, and health. I've been a gym member for 3+ years and was a "newbie" never having lifted weights before. The gym is very clean and you get your own "halo" / space with all the equipment you need. At 38 years old and feeling my strongest and healthiest version of myself and it's been great for both my physical and mental health. I was able to naturally remove myself from prescribed cholesterol medication under the supervision of my primary care physician"

"I have had the pleasure of attending a few gyms in the area over the last 12 plus years or so (with some long breaks) but always find myself back home at Industrious Frisco with Cory when its time to realign. A lot of evolution has taken place over the last dozen years in my life and so has this amazing gym. It feels like it has really found its niche in the "normal dad and mom" or "young adult" who wants to improve their fitness and not have to worry about ego getting in the way or be intimidated by others. They take a long term approach to fitness with the goal being overall well being as opposed to trying to reach a PR on a lift with bad form. I was worried about coming back after a long stretch off (several years of focusing on mental health) but I felt super welcomed with open arms and the people are all so encouraging and uplifting. I will say my one complaint with "old crossfit" style workouts is the degradation on form through a workout. With the way the workouts are structured there is not only an acknowledgment of scaling but an encouragement to do so which is refreshing. The halo system where everything you need is in one place is a next level approach to working out. It really takes the guess work out of having to run around the gym and potentially share equipment and allows me to focus on not puking as we transition which is a plus for everyone. Seriously though, for a guy that has trouble getting in my fitness due to my ADHD and getting bored easy, the ability to walk in and just be told what to do and get it in all within the hour is huge and a big reason why I came back. Of course, the genuinely nice people who are there for the same reason also make it incredibly easy to want to return. So come give it a try, we are just normal folks trying to do the same thing you are, be a better version. Sometimes that's all we need, a light to a path to a slightly better version of who we currently are. Micro compounding gains happen over months and years not days. So start that quest today and see where you end up, long term, you might just surprise yourself."

"I've been a member for almost 2 years now. I have nothing but good things to say about this gym and it's crew. The halo concept is very unique compared to most gyms, and when you combine it with a CrossFit style workout, it just makes sense. The Industrious Frisco crew has spent a lot of time, effort, and energy to build a truly top rate CrossFit gym. But the equipment and facilities are only part of the story. Cory (the owner), Diego, and Collin, all trainers at the gym, are some of the most down to earth trainers I've ever met. They're not pushy Type A overzealous trainers like I experience elsewhere. They have a passion for their craft and the knowledge to back it up. I injured my back about 6 months ago, and their routine has been to work closely with me at each workout to find alternative options that won't stress my back and keep me moving and gaining on my physical strength. The classes are just the right size where you will get the attention you need to ensure you have proper form and aren't going to injure yourself. I really appreciate this close level of attention from them, and the technical precision they provide so I ensure I'm doing my exercises properly. This is worth every dollar of this membership. Thanks for everything y'all do at Industrious Frisco! I highly recommend it to anyone!"
