"I am in my mid 70's, have been receiving chiropractic since I was 4, body work since I was in my early 20's. Moved to Asheville in Dec 2020 and my low back went out in March of 2021 while picking up a golf tee during a round of golf. Dr.'s X-rays showed bulging disc's between L3&L4 and L4&L5. A local body worker recommended Asheville Pilates. Unfortunately Maureen had no availability. I worked with another Pilates studio in South Asheville with some success. Sometime in 2022 I was able to connect with Megan and began regular flexibility and strength training. She is a life saver. I am now not only playing some of my best golf, but walking to play, for the first time in over 20 years. Where was she 20 years ago. Will forever be indebted to Megan, her knowledge, creative, patience and commitment to my health. Maureen, you did good, when you brought Megan on board. My wife and I love your place and all the health benefits."

I have full mobility back in my arm and a year later they helped with my recovery after a hip replacement. Im so much stronger than before. "I have had sessions with several instructors here, all excellent, but mostly with Kathleen. The weekly sessions have done wonders for my core strength and overall fitness and have helped me regularly engage in other strength training, cardiac exercise and hiking without the pain and limitations that I previously experienced on occasion. As a 70+ year old, that is incredibly valuable and allows me to stay consistently engaged in a varied exercise program. Kathleen pushes hard, but not too hard and helps me make consistent progress. As someone who never took Pilates classes before, I was surprised at how quickly Kathleen taught me proper form (though she is always changing the program) and moved me to a point where I feel that I am progressing every week. I have no doubt there are a lot of very good Pilates instructors in Asheville, but I don't think one could do better as a student than with Kathleen. And she always has interesting stories (especially if you like dogs) to entertain and keep things light."
