"Went to HBC for my husband's first strongman comp, and for the first time in general a few weeks prior to check out the Hercules Hold. This gym makes me wish we lived in the area, it's big and well appointed, and every person there was so genuinely friendly and excited about lifting. Spence paused his own workout that first day to show us around and let us demo the Hercules Hold, give us tips, chat about strongman, and just be unbelievably welcoming overall. Comp day felt like showing up to a place we'd been going for years. I've since gotten into lifting and look forward to competing there one day myself because I know even at novice and even if I do badly, I'll be supported and encouraged. Great gym, great people, 0 judgment, check them out!"

"1 year review: Incredible gym and very active owners. You'll find this intimate gym loaded with great powerlifting and strongman equipment. This gym is suitable for all levels of activity from beginner to advanced training. The membership price is fair for 24 hour access, active communication with management and the quality of equipment. The true reason for the 5 stars aside from the overall gym is the community. A wonderful place for banter and learning. They frequently hosts meets/events and are well run by a respectable staff! They also have a great coaching staff such as Geoff, Duy and Josh they all bring their own unique perspectives on training. If you are looking for strongman coaching Eric is world class! Unfortunately I am relocating and it will be challenging to find a gym that matches Home Barbell Club."
