Community Feedback
"Following surgery from an Achilles rupture in the summer of 2025, I was looking to find a local physical therapy practice that could deliver outstanding sports-focused rehabilitation outcomes while maintaining personalized attention for the patient. A friend of mine who was a professional soccer team physical therapist recommended Pursue PT as one of his top choices in Hudson County. Immediately two weeks after my surgery, I was quickly onboarded and started physical therapy with Dr. Patrick Giaquinto and Dr. Robert Spicker. Working with Pat and Rob, I immediately saw their knowledge and experience reflected across a variety of physical rehabilitation areas, as they answered a wide range of questions regarding my return-to-sport progress, my surgery, and the state of my surgically repaired Achilles and lower-body strength. They treated my recovery like an athlete’s return-to-sport process rather than a generic protocol. They used a variety of techniques including bodywork, stretching, and weight training to restore range of motion and strength in my leg. Early on, Pat was very detailed about tracking my exercise compliance to ensure I met my early recovery milestones. After achieving my three-month recovery milestones, I worked more closely with Rob to restore strength and progress toward return-to-sport performance, with Rob consistently recommending and adapting the best set of exercises to accelerate both range-of-motion and strength gains. Under Rob’s guidance and care, I was able to exceed my surgeon’s three-month and six-month progress timelines and milestones and was cleared to start running ahead of schedule. I expect a full return to sport in 2026 and enthusiastically recommend Pursue PT for their extremely qualified physical therapists, personalized care, and clear focus on patient outcomes that are critical for those serious about returning to sport. Additionally, I want to give a big thank-you to Asheley and Marisa, who handle scheduling at Pursue PT. They have done an outstanding job with appointment reschedules and are very responsive and flexible when it comes to moving appointments regardless of circumstance. Every time I have called Pursue PT with a general or scheduling question, either Asheley or Marisa has been there to answer my questions."

"I cannot recommend Pursue PT enough. I tried a number of physical therapy providers in the Hoboken area to assist with a hip issue and none of them provided the level of professionalism and care that Pursue did. From my first interaction with Pursue via email, I was met with a world class experience. From always swift responsiveness, to helping me understand the practice's credentials and expertise treating my particular ailment, to personalized and attentive care, to a great atmosphere - there isn't anywhere else in NJ that I would recommend above Pursue. Thanks to Mike, Rob, Asheley and Brandon for all the great work."
